Home Improvement Advice and News

I love my home. I feel it should always look like the first day when I bought it. In my entire home, kitchen is my favorite place. But since last few days I was really facing problems in cleaning it and giving it the kitchen’s desired look. I used kitchen chimneys regularly. I use dish washers for cleaning my utensils. Then one of my friends advised me to use steel scrubber or even using the copper scrubber.

At first I didn’t think that it could be better than my “expensive” dish washer, but then I thought of giving it a try… and the result I got was simply unbelievable!

Due to the high calcium concentration in the water, there were lots of spots and chalky whitish residues in my kitchen floor. Believe it or all these stains were gone after using the copper scrubber all were gone after using

However, I once prepared a solution by mixing vinegar (1 part) and water (3 parts) and boiled it. I could clean my kitchen with this well. I use hot water whenever I clean my kitchen and it really helps.

Before trying steel scrubber on the utensils burnt on food, I used to clean my utensils with hot soapy water. Sometimes, I used to fill up the burnt utensil with this water and boiled it, and then start cleaning. But the process was quite time consuming and very messy too.

But never use the metallic scouring pads for the steel ware. Though they are good, these damage the look and the finishing of the cookware.

I always want to look beautiful; I love to get compliments from all. I go for Sponge Skin Care treatment for this. Likewise, I feel great when my friends compliment me for my fine looking and striking kitchen.

Just give it a try, and I am sure you will also get great comments for your kitchen.

If you are planning to give your home a good clean-up, there are a number of points that are worth noting down. Getting rid of the dirt is secondary. What requires more attention is whether you have the right things to use for the cleanup, be it the scrubbing pads or the vacuum cleaner!

Your Apartment

Start with planning, according to the size of your house or your apartment. Consider the amount of work that needs to be done. If you have a small apartment, you may finish your job within a few hours, unless you have a good deal of furniture to move around or if the apartment is disorganized beyond the limits!

Generally a cloth to wipe off the furniture and a vacuum cleaner is enough in most cases, with a carpet cleaner also being a part of the list at times. The kitchen may require scrub pads to remove the grime and the oil. Thus, just get a few wipes, and have your vacuum cleaner ready. Keep a bottle of detergent or liquid soap handy for the kitchen, and also the copper scrubber or a steel scrubber.

Your House

If you are living in a big house, it may become a different kind of project altogether! You may end up taking a week to cover the whole house. The hall alone may take a whole day, depending on the size and the volume of work that needs doing.

Some of the items that you are surely going to need are a mop, the vacuum cleaner (a heavy duty machine should be ideal for this case), a heavy duty carpet cleaner, scrubbing pads, various types of liquid soap, and also enough place to trash the garbage that comes out. You may require various types of scrub pads, like the copper scrubber for your kitchen, a steel scrubber for the fireplace, and see on.

Make sure you consider all these points before you start with your job. This will not only make your job simpler, but will also equip you with all the necessary tools that you would require in advance. It is all about how you plan the job!
